Mechanosynthesis
Mechanosynthesis(Mech. Synth.) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published quarterly. It is a pioneering international journal focused exclusively on mechanochemical synthesis—the core and fastest-growing branch of mechanochemistry. The journal focuses on mechanical force-driven chemical reactions and material synthesis processes, addressing the critical technical, methodological and industrial challenges in scaling mechanochemistry from an emerging laboratory technology into a mainstream sustainable manufacturing approach. Aligned with global carbon neutrality goals, we are committed to advancing the development of solvent-free, low-energy and environmentally benign chemical production paradigms.
Mechanosynthesis serves as a leading global forum for disseminating high-quality, original research spanning the entire value chain of mechanochemical synthesis. We explicitly require submissions to demonstrate a clear connection to mechanical force-induced or accelerated synthesis processes, covering fundamental mechanistic insights, innovative methodological advances, equipment and process optimization, and industrial-scale applications. Core topics include but are not limited to:
Offshore Wind Energy Technologies and System Optimization (Fixed-bottom & Floating Wind Turbines)
1.Fundamental mechanisms of mechanochemical reactions (tribochemistry, stress-induced reactivity, mechanistic modeling)
2.Mechanochemical synthesis methodologies for organic, inorganic, pharmaceutical and polymeric materials
3.Development and engineering of mechanochemical equipment (ball mills, extruders, continuous flow systems)
4.Process scale-up and industrial implementation of mechanochemical synthesis
5.Mechanochemical synthesis for energy storage materials, fine chemicals and pharmaceutical manufacturing
6.Green chemistry metrics and sustainability assessment of mechanochemical processes
